Oradour sur Glane
When we were stationed at Chinon, a "must see" was Oradour sur Glane. One weekend, Jean and I drove over and had a look for ourselves. This was 1956 or 57 and we had a new 1956 4CV Renault. This turned out to be an awesome experience for a couple of Michigan kids. This was our first time to see the results of what people will do to each other and still call themselves "humans". I took over thirty photos that day and those old colored slides are still in fair shape.
